The latest extension was due to the enforcement of the \u201ccircuit breaker\u201d measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 in Singapore as well as Malaysia\u2019s movement control order.<br \/>\nThe RTS link will also connect to the Woodlands North MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line.\u00a0<br \/>\nRecommended article:\u00a0Ang Mo Kio BTO Flats (August 2020 Launch): Only 10 Minutes From Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL)<br \/>\nJohor\u2019s Chief Minister Hasni Mohammad reportedly expects the project to commence work in November.<br \/>\nAccording to him, both countries are set to sign the agreement on the project by end-July, reported The Star.<br \/>\nMalaysian Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong also said it will wait for the city-state\u2019s new Cabinet to form, given that Singapore\u2019s General Election have been completed over the weekend.<br \/>\n\u201cIf we are able to complete the negotiations next week, the time would have come for us to seal the agreement.
