\nThe U.K. property market is seeing “greenshoots” of recovery even as transactions are expected to decline by 40% in 2020, says Nicholas Holt at Knight Frank. He adds that while the market has recently seen more enquiries from Hong Kong buyers, it is “a little early to tell” how many of them will become actual transactions on the back of the U.K.’s pledge to offer British national overseas passport holders citizenship options.
