\nBiggest monthly drop since financial crash as potential buyers delay for six monthsHouse prices across the UK fell at the fastest rate since the financial crisis last month, as would-be buyers said they would wait six months before returning to the housing market.The average price of a home dropped 1.7% in May from the previous month to \u00a3218,902, according to\u00a0Nationwide\u00a0Building Society, one of the UK\u2019s largest mortgage lenders.
