\nVisitors at Jewel Changi Airport can look forward to getting lost at the 14,000 sq m Canopy Park, which is set to open on 10 June.\u00a0Located on the fifth floor of Jewel, the park features 10 attractions.\u00a0They include the Canopy Bridge \u2013 a glass-floored 50m-long bridge hanging 23m above the ground.
\nFrom the bridge, visitors can view the Shiseido Forest Valley and HSBC Rain Vortex.
\nThe park will also have two sky nets, where visitors can either walk across a net hanging 25m off the ground or bounce on a 250 m-long net.
\nOther attractions include the Discovery Slides, an art sculpture measuring 400m with four slides and a 6.5m-high platform with a view of the Shiseido Forest Valley.
\nMeanwhile, two mazes designed by Adrian Fisher \u2013 a mirror and hedge maze \u2013 will occupy an area of 500 sq m at the park.
\nGardens, such as a 220 sq m petal garden that comes with seasonal floral displays, can also be found at Canopy Park.
\n\u201cWhen Canopy Park was conceptualised, we envisaged a green natural environment with play and leisure activities for people of all ages,\u201d said Hung Jean, Jewel Changi Airport chief executive.
\nEntry fee for the park costs $4.50 for Singapore residents and $5 for other visitors.
\nAttractions such as the sky nets and mazes, including the canopy bridge, will have separate fees.
\nEntry fee for all attractions will be $54 for adults and $39 for senior citizens and children aged three to 12.
\nIn anticipation of crowds, the park will be open between 9am and 3am daily during its first month of operations. Thereafter, it will open from 10am to 10pm.
\nTo ensure the safety of visitors, staff will be on hand at all attractions, said Jewel\u2019s deputy head for user experience Koh Ji Lei. She revealed that a limited number of tickets will be made available each day in order to prevent overcrowding.
