\nWhy waste your hard-earned cash when people are queuing up to give you stuff for nothing, says Huma QureshiOK, so it sounds obnoxious and some people say it’s bad manners to complain about your food in a restaurant, but if you do there is a high chance you might get away without having to pay for your meal (or at least get a free dessert). We’re not suggesting you pretend there’s a fly in your soup or hair on your pizza when there isn’t, but if there is a genuine problem with your meal you don’t have to suffer in silence, nor should you have to pay for it.
