\nLast September 84,200 UK tenants owed more than two months\u2019 rent, up from 74,000 in June, say Your Move and Reeds Rains estate agentsThe number of private tenants seriously behind with their rent has risen sharply to reach the highest since early 2013, according to a new study. However, eviction rates have fallen over the same period.At the end of September 2015 there were 84,200 tenants owing more than two months\u2019 rent, compared with 74,000 at the end of June, said estate agents Your Move and Reeds Rains, which publish a quarterly arrears survey.
