\nCity Developments Limited (CDL) opened its latest residential project Whistler Grand for preview last Saturday (20 Oct).
\nLocated along West Coast Vale, overlooking Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Pandan Reservoir, the 716-unit condo project comprises two 36-storey towers, with 80 percent of its 210,883 sq ft site area devoted to landscaping.
\nIt is within proximity to four MRT stations \u2013 Jurong East MRT station, Clementi MRT station, upcoming Pandan Reservoir MRT station and the future MRT station on the Cross Island line.
\nThe 99-year condo is also a short drive from the Jurong Gateway precinct, which features 250,000 sq m of entertainment, retail and dining spaces spread across malls such as IMM, Big Box, JEM, JCube and Westgate.
\nWhistler Grand is also near Ng Teng Fong General Hospital as well as various educational institutions such as Nan Hua Primary School, Qifa Primary School, Canadian International School, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and National University of Singapore.
\nIn a statement, CDL revealed that units will be offered at special prices during the official launch, starting from $608,000 for a one-bedder, $792,000 for a two-bedder, $1.198 million for a three-bedder, $1.568 million for a four-bedder and $1.788 million for a five-bedder.
\n\u201cAverage selling price is $1,380 psf,\u201d it said.

\nAlso available are dual-key options for three- and four-bedroom units as well as two five-bedroom flexi penthouses.
\nUnit sizes will range from 441 sq ft for one-bedders to 1,442 sq ft for five-bedders. The penthouses, on the hand, start from 2,217 sq ft.
\nAs the most affordable launch this quarter, CDL\u2019s head of property development Lee Mei Ling expects the project to receive a good take-up rate.
\n\u201cWhistler Grand is one of the most anticipated launches. We have received keen interest for this project as it is the latest residential launch in West Coast,\u201d she said.
