This is attributed to more residential units benefiting from the Home Improvement Programme, Lift Upgrading Programme and Neighbourhood Renewal Programme.<br \/>\nThe agency incurs a deficit annually, mainly from its homeownership programmes, which includes the construction and sale of new HDB flats.
